SSL
The Rayos Team will install an SSL certificate for your website. This will enable https:// security.
Checklist
Confirm Access To An Amazon-Approved Website Email
Amazon Web Services requires sites have at least one of these email addresses set up to approve the request for the SSL certificate (replacing “your_domain_name” with your site’s URL):
- administrator@your_domain_name
- hostmaster@your_domain_name
- postmaster@your_domain_name
- webmaster@your_domain_name
- admin@your_domain_name
Note: At least one of these email addresses must be set up for your site to get an SSL certificate. The Rayos Team is unable to change the email addresses AWS requires to approve the certificate.
Validate Your SSL Certificate
Once you have confirmed you have access to at least one of these email address for your site, share that email address with your Project Coordinator. We will then request Amazon Web Services send a validation link.
You will receive two to three emails from Amazon Certificates <no-reply@certificates.amazon.com>. You must then click on the validation link in each email within 72 hours to complete the process before the validation link expires.
